In comparison to ordinary Aluminum Base Grease, Aluminum Complex Grease boasts a myriad of superior advantages. Since its inception in the 1960s, the evolution of compound aluminum-based grease has been slower compared to lithium-based grease, primarily due to the elevated production technology and equipment requirements, along with the necessity for certain key performance breakthroughs. However, with recent advancements in technical patents, the performance of compound aluminum-based grease has significantly improved in areas such as water resistance, high-temperature endurance, and shear stability. Similar to other types of grease, complex aluminum-based grease predominantly consists of base oils and is thickened with a specialized thickener for aluminum-based grease. Synthetic aluminum-based greases utilize synthetic oils as their base oils, with many base oils being mineral-based. According to the additive formulation, there are diverse types of compound aluminum-based grease, such as extreme pressure compound aluminum-based grease and anti-oxidation and anti-rust compound aluminum-based grease. For instance, the synthesis of extreme pressure aluminum-based grease indicates a composite aluminum-based thickener, synthetic oil as the base oil, and the inclusion of an extreme pressure (EP) extrusion additive.
